Kotisähkölaitteita (TNS, TENS, EMS, NMES) voidaan käyttää ponnistus-, seka- ja pakkovirtsankarkailun hoidossa.

TNS, TENS = Transcutaneous electrical (nerve) stimulation

EMS = Electromyostimulation

NMES = Neuromuscular electrical stimulation

Kotisähkölaitteiden käytöstä on jonkin verran tutkimusnäyttöä.
