Vaikka liikunnan suorat vaikutukset vaihdevuosioireisiin ovat epäselviä tai niitä ei ole, on liikunnalla kuitenkin monia hyödyllisiä terveysvaikutuksia ja siksi se on suositeltavaa myös vaihdevuosi-iässä ja sen jälkeen «Liikkumalla terveyttä – askel kerrallaan. Viikoitt...»1.
